Today’s Juice Recipe is inspired by Tropical Queensland where I have been fortunate enough to spend some time this year! Tropical flavours are my absolute favourite.
The combination of ingredients are not only delicious but full of living enzymes. One of the main ingredients in this juice, pineapples contain a special enzyme called bromeliad. Apart from contributing to the digestion of proteins, bromelain is a natural anti-inflammatory and anti-coagulant.
Tropical Delight Juice Recipe
- 1/2 Pineapple
- 5 Carrots
- 1/4 Watermelon
- 1/2 Cucumber
- 1 Celery stalk
- 1/2 a thumb of Ginger
- Wash and chop all the fruit and vegetables. You can actually juice the skins of the carrots, cucumber and ginger and roughly chop the skin of the pineapple.
- Using a Juicer, preferably a Cold Pressed Juicer, juice all the ingredients and pour in a large glass jar.
- Refrigerate until cool. The juice will last for 24 hours in an airtight glass bottle in the fridge.
Thank you for the recipe inspiration Lorraine ❤
