Early tomorrow morning I am flying up to the Gold Coast to work at Gwinganna Lifestyle Retreat, one of Australia’s most prestigious health retreats!

Gwinganna is located in a hidden region of the Tallebudgera Valley, 30 minutes from the Gold Coast. Gwinganna sits high on a plateau, surrounded by beautiful ocean and valley views, with over 200 hectares of land to explore. I will be working in all areas of the retreat from taking walks, yoga, working in the day spa, helping with the food service and joining in on other various activities! Sounds like heaven to me.

Check out the website for more info!

Although I will be working I feel it is the perfect chance to learn new things, relax, as well as revive and rejuvenate my body from the inside out! It is a great idea to give yourself a chance to slow down and enjoy life!

Why go to a Retreat?

We live such busy lives and when your routine starts to bog you down,  you may just want to escape to a retreat! Stress can be life threatening as it could lead to bodily dysfunctions such as: heart disease, depression, autoimmune diseases, insomnia, digestive problems, obesity, and other ailments.

Health retreats are the perfect way to improve your health and wellbeing on many levels. They are also great for bonding with a family member or partner.

I have heard on many occasions from all sorts of people, that staying at a health retreat can be a life changing experience. You could go from being a run down over worked inactive person to the complete opposite in as little as a week. Taking time out to do something for yourself is something not many people do in this day and age resulting in people becoming depressed, stuck in a rut and becoming very unhealthy and ultimately sick.

I am looking forward to sharing my experiences with you!
Please feel free to share any experiences you have too!
